Features

50 ppm/100 ipm @ 200 dpi in B/W, G/S and Colour, Landscape

  • Scanning speed is consistent in B/W, G/S and Colour. Customers who have a present or future requirement for colour scanning require high speed colour scanning.

Excellent paper handling

  • 14 to 34 lb

Auto Switching Background

  • Allows the software or scanner to switch between a white and black background. A black background provides for accurate auto-crop and auto de-skew. A white background allows the scanner to perform optical system checks and re-calibrations which ensure consistent image quality.

Network Interface Option

  • With the fi-5000N network interface option, the scanner can be shared by up to 32 users over a network. Fingerprint authentication identifies the users and routes the images to their desktops.

Imprinter Option

  • The imprinter option prints a string of alphanumeric text onto the back side of the page after scanning. This text can include a page counter, date and time, file number or any other alphanumeric information.

ADF Accepts a Wide Variety of Paper Sizes

Ultra-sonic Double Feed Detection

  • Ultra-sonic double feed detection is the most advanced method for detecting double feeds. It works reliably even when scanning pages of different sizes, thicknesses and colours.

Auto-cropping and Auto de-skew

  • Allows scanning of different sizes of pages in the same batch. The scanner will automatically detect the size of the paper and adjust the size of the image to match the size of the paper. With auto cropping, there is no need to select a paper size.
